1. Processing of personal data
Smirneos & Co (including its subsidiaries and affiliates) respects your privacy. We understand and share your concerns about the privacy of your personal information. Our clients are the center of the Smirneos & Co universe and we strive to provide you a pleasant experience. Part of our commitment to you is to respect and protect the confidentiality of the personal information you provide to us. This Privacy Statement emphasizes your privacy rights and our commitment to protecting your personal data. It is intended to help you understand how FIRESC processes your personal data.
FIRESC is subject to and complies with EU Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council of 27th April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and with the repeal of Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) when processing your personal data.
Mrs. Paula Constantinescu is responsible for the administration and implementation of the FIRESC Privacy Statement and has the day-to-day responsibility for overseeing compliance with applicable legal requirements.
2. What personal information we record and process
We record the personal information you provide to us online or in other ways. For example, when you place an order or sign-up to receive promotional email.
When you sign-up to receive promotional emails, you provide to us: your email address, first and last name.
When you place an order, you provide us with information such as: your first and last name, Personal National Identification Number, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number and bank card details.
We may also collect and further process certain information about your behavior while visiting our website, in order to personalize your online experience and provide you with offers tailored to your profile.
On FIRESC website we may store and collect information in cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with the Cookies Policy.
3. Purposes of registration and processing

b. To solve issues of any kind related to an order;

You can unsubscribe from any campaign you have previously signed-up for, by following the instructions at the end of the campaign message;

Without prejudice to your fundamental rights and freedoms, where applicable, we may share your personal data with affiliates and subsidiaries or business partners for the purposes described in this privacy policy, including to communicate to you about products and services, offers, events and promotions that may interest you.

5. In which countries do we transfer your personal data?
We currently store and process your personal data in Romania.
However, we may transfer certain of your personal data to entities located in the European Union or outside the Union. We will always take steps to ensure that any international transfer of personal data is carefully managed in order to protect your rights and interests. Transfers to service providers and other third parties will always be protected by contractual commitments and, where applicable, by other guarantees, such as standard contractual clauses issued by the European Commission or certification schemes, such as the Privacy Shield for the protection of personal data transferred from within the EU to the United States.

6. Data protection
FIRESC takes data protection seriously and takes appropriate security measures to protect your personal data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, theft, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Access to your personal data is restricted, only authorized persons have access. The transmission of your personal data is done using state-of-the-art encryption algorithms and is being stored on secure servers.
For payments, we use the services of payment processors. Any payment information is encrypted using HTTPS technology.
Despite the measures taken to protect your personal data, please be aware that transmitting information over the Internet, in general, or through other public networks, is not completely secure, as there is a risk that the data may be viewed and used by unauthorized third parties. We cannot be held responsible for such vulnerabilities in systems that are beyond our control.
7. Retention time of your personal data
FIRESC will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes described in section 3. When storage is no longer required, we will delete, destroy or anonymize relevant personal data.
Payment information is stored for a maximum of 60 days.
You may request that we delete certain information at any time, and we will comply with such requests, subject to the retention of certain information even after you accont is closed, in cases where required by applicable law.
8. Your rights
You have the right to request access to personal data that is processed on your behalf and to request the deletion or correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
You have the right to file a complaint with your national data protection supervisory authority, or with the Romanian National Authority for the Supervision of Personal Data Processing.

9. Minors
FIRESC website is not for minors and does not sell products to minors. We do not knowingly collect information from persons under the age of eighteen.
