Cristina, Andreea, Diana, Alina, Georgiana, Alexandra, or whatever her name might be. Her name doesn't matter in the slightest, only what lies within. The feelings, the state of mind, the attitude. And she, she knows that without any concerted effort she can have around her the things and the people who bring out the best in her. Can you sense her presence in the way you behave?
If not, what do you do? Do you panic? No, you don't panic, because there's no reason to. You simply need to work on yourself a little.
Take stock of yourself
How you speak, what you say and to whom. Don't judge yourself, just take stock. And, yes, stop comparing yourself with your best friend or with the woman you can't stand. Because "the woman who doesn't have to do a thing" doesn't hate. She knows her own worth and makes no fuss about it. Like a certified diamond, she lets herself be admired.
Change slowly but meaningfully
There are bound to be a few things you don't like about yourself. Look them "straight in the eye" and throw them out of the window. Don't give them a chance. Their company does you no honour.
Everything we're talking about here refers to what's inside. The outside becomes a consequence. That's precisely why we won't go into detail. You don't have to do anything physical, just think about yourself.
Accept that you deserve it
You're like a piece of diamond jewellery. Does it feel good to read that? It means you deserve more than you think you do. Don't rush to end the relationship just because you have the impression he isn't good enough for you. We're not talking about deserving anyone in particular, but about loving yourself more.
Ask for and give respect
It's simple to do. First you give.
You'll get back everything you give and then some. You don't even have to fret for good things to happen to you. Be open and reasonable, appreciate every person around you as a teacher who has something to teach you. Take your lessons with all the joy you're capable of and move forward.
Have you read a few things that made you turn towards your own self, even if just for 2 minutes? Do you understand now why "the woman who doesn't have to do a thing" could be you?
We haven't said a word about going to the hairdresser, getting your nails done or shopping.
Because that's not what this is about; it's about the natural ease of "being yourself".
